Even with a delayed winter, we are starting to see the seasonal decrease in residential real estate transactions.  With the cold weather setting in and the holidays, many sellers pull their homes off the market and many buyers take a break from their home search until mid-to-late January.  For those sellers who keep their home on the market, it can still be a good time to sell.  Even though there are less active buyers, any showing during December or January is typically with very serious buyers.  For buyers who continue to look during this time, they will have less competition and more leverage when submitting an offer.
