To sell your home, you don't have to spend a ton of money to redo kitchens or bathrooms. However, there are many things that a seller can do to make their home look better and sell faster.  Many of these things, don't cost a lot or may just take some time to get them done.  Some of the best AND easiest things that you can do to make your home shine for buyers, are:

*Fresh Paint with popular colors that are neutral and modern (talk to a local paint or home improvement store to see what their best sellers are)

*Landscaping (trim trees & bushes, especially ones that are close to the house, add flowers by the front for curb appeal)

*Lighting - you can replace interior or exterior lighting fairly cheaply or consider spray painting a current light to make it look newer or more modern.  A can of spray paint will cost you around $6.

*Front door - replace a front door or paint a current one to make it stand out and look more trendy.  See Pinterest for great ideas.

*Declutter & Clean - You're planning on moving anyway, so get most of your stuff out of the house and into a storage facility.  Depersonalize the home, so that buyers can see themselves there.  A super clean house makes potential buyers feel good about the home and how it has been maintained.
